Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join our Vertical Lift,Metals and Composite Contracting team in Mesa, AZ.

Position Responsibilities:

• Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements
• Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools
• Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 or more years of experience formally or informally leading teams in a cross functional environment.
• 3 or more years of experience managing supplier relationships.
• Experience negotiating contracts, terms and conditions, and pricing.
• 3 or more years of experience developing and writing contract language; managing supplier contracts; and/or working with supply chain processes or systems.
• Experience with critical business and financial acumen to influence and shape strategy.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience with government, company and local policies, procedures and regulations relating to the development of cost proposals
• Experience leading or managing complex teams of managers or non-management employees
• Ability to manage complex supplier executive relationships

• Global supply chain experience / knowledge

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $114,750 - $141,750
