Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Transportation/Tasking Coordinator to join our team in Hertford, NC.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage daily shipping and receiving schedules, as well as routes and issues dispatch to assigned truck drivers in accordance with delivery schedules
  • Prepare and process transportation documents, such as shipping labels, dispatches, and required hazardous material forms
  • Process incoming shipments and update customer transportation management systems
  • Able to determine the most efficient and cost-effective plan or routes of scheduled shipments of goods
  • Analyze transportation data to identify trends and resolve issues related to transportation
  • Receive, schedule, coordinate, and assemble teams to complete taskings
  • Identify material handling equipment, resources, and personnel protective equipment needed for taskings
  • Required to brief and update customer on statuses of shipments and taskings
  • Conduct warehouse duties/functions of issuing, receiving, and inventory when required

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active Counterintelligence polygraph
  • Experience using logistics software
  • Forklift Certification
