WHO YOU ARE:
ViaSat is looking to hire a top performing Vice President to lead our consumer residential broadband business in the United States. With the recent launch of our ViaSat-2 satellite and upcoming launch of our ground breaking ViaSat-3 satellite ViaSat is expecting to be one of the fastest growing residential broadband service providers in the country. The leader of this exciting business will be responsible for managing the day to operations as well as the strategic direction of ViaSats US residential broadband business.
You will lead and manage a team of employees across the United States to achieve sales revenue and P&L objectives with your deep understanding of the economic drivers of the consumer residential broadband market. You should have operational experience as well as a fundamental understanding of telecommunications market drivers. You are a proven senior leader with an accomplished background in selling and delivering consumer internet voice and other solutions to the residential market and have implemented successful marketing and sales methodologies to increase sales productivity and capture market share.

WHAT YOULL CONTRIBUTE:
+ 10+ years progressive senior leadership experience in the telecommunications industry
+ Successfully led consumer sales marketing and operational functions at a high growth telecommunications company.
+ Served successfully in a transformational leadership capacity.
+ Strong business and financial acumen with a deep understanding of the economic drivers of the residential broadband market.
+ Proven experience and success in managing a large P&L budget.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales channel and go-to-market strategies to capture market opportunities and drive profitable growth.
+ Consistent record of accomplishment of sales leadership success and quota achievement in high growth commercial telecommunications sales organizations.
+ Demonstrated ability to attract recruit and retain top talent and build high performing teams.
+ Worked effectively across diverse functions within a business (e.g. Sales Marketing Product Service Delivery Operations Customer Care etc.)
+ Bachelors Degree in a related field
+ U.S. Government Position. U.S. Citizenship required
+ Up to 25% domestic travel.
