Job postings have a life span

Job postings routinely expire in 30 days to keep things fresh.

Job postings on our site have a life span set by the employer. They expire unless renewed or reposted (by the employer). At any point during their run, jobs can be manually deleted by the companies. In either case, they will no longer appear on our site, and you can no longer submit your resume to the job. Unfortunately, this is something that is specified on the employers' part, and not on the part of Avjobs.

Job postings routinely expire in 30 days to keep things fresh.

Changes to the Avjobs Resume Builder Master Profile System

Changes to the Resume Builder section of the site

We recently made some changes to the Resume Builder section of the site. These changes may require you to update your Master Profile/Resume to better align yourself with employer searches. Please log into your account as soon as possible to make the necessary changes.

When building your master profile, you are asked for your career interests. The categories of interest are divided into broad areas and your selected interests can open doors to more opportunities.

Begin by selecting three (3) general employment categories that appeal to you most.

You are more likely to be found by employers when your preferences, skills and personal interests match what an employer is looking for.

Personal Information

It's important to include all your contact information so employers can easily get in touch with you. If your contact information changes, it is crucial that you update this section and notify potential employers.

Employment History

Enter employment history for the last 10 years. Your employment history is presented in reverse chronological order, with the most recent jobs placed at the top of the list.

Military History

If you served in the armed forces, describe your length of service, branch of service, rank, and discharge or reserve status. Employers generally react favorably to military service experience.

Education & Training

For many jobs, the Education section on a resume is key. Your education can involve on-site or online courses, workshops, conferences, seminars and even self-learning materials.

Pilot Experience

Include skills & background info to provide an overview of your piloting experience, training and background. Be as specific as possible. Provide full and abbreviated names when listing aircraft flown.

Mechanical Experience

This section applies to all mechanical and maintenance experience. Though mechanics and maintenance workers are in demand, having the appropriate license, certificate or level of experience is critical.

Be sure to complete all 6 sections

When you keep your professional experience up to date, our system will keep your resume at the top of the list of employer searches.
