Career Overview: Aircraft Sales

Oshkosh 2007 Day 3 - Aircraft Sales

Today's broadcast from EAA AirVenture Oshkosh profiles a growing career opportunity: Aircraft Sales.

The AvjobsWeekly team met with with Stu Horn, President of Aviat aircraft, who described some of the aircraft models his company manufacturers at the company's base in Afton, Wyoming. He also discusses career opportunities in aviation and why potential aviation professionals should reach for their aeronautical career goals.

Our video team also met with Andrew Dauber, one of Aviat's professionals who specializes in floatplane sales and training for the company's Mid-Atlantic market. He described some of the differences between floatplanes and their land-based counterparts and also discussed the joys of teaching a new Aviat owner the nuances of their new floatplane. Mr. Dauber believes that sales and flight instruction be a full-time, rewarding careers. We're in complete agreement.

Stay tuned for more from EAA AirVenture 2007!
